cowtown 2009

my firstborn and i ran the cowtown 5K today. she did such a great job. we ran almost the whole time. we weren't speedy (34 min), but it was her best time yet! i am so proud of her. by the way...it was freezing and terribly windy. she was such a trooper. afterwards, colin and i decided to rip up our wood floors (because they were buckling). much to our dismay, this is what we found...

happy birthday reese!

my sweet baby girl turned 7 yesterday. she had a lego party and invited a few of her good buddies from church and school. it was such a fun party! we went to castle park (quite cold and windy), played on the trampoline, made lego creations and played lego games. reese is such a cool kid. i love that she doesn't have to have a princess party just because all the other girls do. she is a smart, independent, funny and beautiful young girl. i love reese and am so thankful she is my daughter!

colin made the coolest and yummiest cake ever!

oma, aunt candy and uncle-licious were all sweet to come.
