happy birthday mackenzie!

mackenzie had her birthday party on friday night. she and some friends went to the movies to see night at the museum 2, played games, made friendship bracelets and slept out on the trampoline. they stayed up until 2 and then woke up at 6:30am! UGH!

today we had our church picnic. jackson was so tired that he fell asleep sitting up while colin was carrying him around.

it was beautiful when we came back home so we decided to go for a bike ride in the neighborhood. our ride ended in rain pouring down on us. the weekend was crazy and my sweet ten year old ended up passing out on the couch at 7:30 pm on her birthday. good times!

zoology 101

jackson's wonderful pawpaw bought the family zoo memberships this year! so, i took jackson on his first real trip to the zoo today. it was very crowded, but jack-man was in total awe of the animals, staff golf carts, water features, birds and airplanes flying overhead. he also had his first train ride.

he was a little nervous about all the squeaky noises coming from the engine...i was too.

not to brag or anything, but jackson saw these guys and said, "moo" several times!

mother's day 2009

happy mother's day! mom (bobbie)- you are the best mother ever. i am so thankful for you and i certainly don't say it enough.

i also feel very blessed to have three wonderful kiddos and my fabulous hubby (not pictured due to job requirements) in my life.

soccer saturdays

i love watching the girls play upward soccer. outdoor sports are my favorite and there is always such a nice breeze at the field. here are a few shots for the day.

swine flu break

we had a lovely week off school due to the swine flu outbreak. we did some gardening, went to the pmf farm, went bike riding, hung with the neighbors and ate some ice cream. here are some of my favorite pics.
