annual bluebonnet photos

well, it was like pulling teeth trying to get these kids to sit still for a few pics...

 the bluebonnets were beautiful, plentiful and they smelled so wonderful!

 and to top it off...it was perfect jeep weather!

i love these kids!

reese and mackenzie helped lead worship in both services sunday morning.

i was working audio visual team and had to capture this moment for 

when i am older and more grey headed.

it's officially springtime...and that means aggie baseball!

we met some of our favorite peeps in the motherland to watch an aggie baseball game. 

we missed you, emma!

colin caught a ball that was heading for his buddy and saved his life.  

rw is eternally grateful. 

we don't miss living in a big city, but we sure miss these guys!

horse quiz bowl

reese and some of her friends competed in horse quiz bowl again this year.  they won 

5th place in the county competition.  between the rounds of questions, they found a way to relax...

 they had swing jumping competitions...reese won distance.

and m.g. won highest.

they had such a great time together...a wonderful group of girls!

afterwards we went to one of the houses and had a party.  

they thought it would be a good idea

to take a swim in the cold river.

the end of track season

mackenzie finished track season a couple of weeks ago.  this year she competed in four events.

 she furthered her personal best in the triple jump with a distance of 31'3". 

she also ran the 100 hurdles and the 300 hurdles and the mile relay.
