cowtown 5K

it has become a bit of a tradition in our family to run a couple of 5Ks a year together. this morning we ran the cowtown 5K with about a hundred kids from the girls' school. it was fun, but one of the guides steered everyone the wrong direction, so we ended up running only about 2 miles. it was probably a good thing for us, because colin ran with jackson on his back! what a man!!

happy birthday reese

my baby girl turned 8 yesterday. she decided to have a very small party at main event on friday and we had a great time playing lazer tag and games. thanks to aunt candy and uncle-licious for helping us celebrate. yesterday she chose dinner at hibachi and then opened the rest of her cards and presents. about 12:30 this a.m. she got really sick. at least it wasn't on her b-day! i am so thankful that God gave reese to our family. she is an energetic, fun, friendly, playful and sweet little girl that i adore.
