all-girls aggie game

 every once and i while i get the opportunity to spend some time with just my girls and i treasure every minute of it.  yesterday, we had the chance to go to aggieland and watch the aggies b.t.h.o. south carolina state.  we had one extra ticket, so we invited a sweet friend who both of the girls just love. 

 we walked around campus a little before the game and went to the new memorial student center.

 it was such a fun time hanging with these young ladies!

and the aggies won 70-14!

these girls, along with the rest of their class won the spirit contest at school for the first time this year. 

 they were so excited!

 mackenzie is one of the shortest girls in her class and doesn't believe it when i say she is growing.  this week we made her try on her ski outfit that fit her perfectly 2 years ago.  this is my "i told you so" picture.  

these two guys were asked to spot and announce the football game on friday night.  they did a great job! and i thought they looked super-cute in the press box. 

first and sixth day of school

okay, so i totally forgot first day of school pics this year.  so, here are the kiddos are on their way to school:  jack is going to his first day, the girls on their sixth day of school. 

 they love driving with the top off the jeep.  in fact, jack told his oma 

that i took him to school with no top on!

a special day

 reese was baptized on sunday and many of our friends and family came in to celebrate the special
occasion with us. here are some highlights...

 we went to the park on saturday for some swimming

 and canoeing

 oma found a cool place in the shade and colton thought it was a good spot too

and a little go cart time.

 after the weekend was over, paw paw stayed for a few extra days.  we spent one day hiking around the entire lake at the state park.

we saw some really pretty scenery and had a great time!
