happy birthday reese!

my sweet baby girl turned 7 yesterday. she had a lego party and invited a few of her good buddies from church and school. it was such a fun party! we went to castle park (quite cold and windy), played on the trampoline, made lego creations and played lego games. reese is such a cool kid. i love that she doesn't have to have a princess party just because all the other girls do. she is a smart, independent, funny and beautiful young girl. i love reese and am so thankful she is my daughter!

we had a snow day yesterday! it was cold and icy all over the neighborhood. mid-morning some of our friends called us to go sledding down their street. we couldn't refuse...but i guess we should have. both of my girls had to go to the doctor today with strep throat!

a tradition in our family is going to the rodeo together at least once a year. although colin and i weren't feeling well, we took the kiddos anyway. we had great family time and ate some yummy food. i highly recommend the cowboy burrito, funnel cake, corn dogs, cotton candy and we even found a place that had sonic ice! good times!
