Tuesday, April 3
no more track
we finished track season last night with a district meet in goldthwaite.
mackenzie cleared 6 feet to get fourth place in pole vault
she got 4th place in 300m hurdles
and her team placed 3rd in the 800m relay
reese and jack had fun playing in the dirt and running
around with friends.
Monday, April 2
a chip off the old block
some of you may not know that i am married to an award winning photographer. in 5th grade, colin won a state contest in his age division in photography. both of our girls decided to enter a few pictures in the local county-wide contest. each participant could enter up to 5 entries. out of 150 entries, only 30 total entries were chosen for all of the kids' divisions. i made collages of each of their entries.
reese won 2nd place in her division for her picture of the sunset.
in her division, mackenzie won 2nd for the misty forrest, 3rd for the baseball and honorable mention for the orange gerber daisy.
they both scored some cash too!
so proud of my girls!!
