5 years old

 jack turned five on new years eve.  he keeps telling people, "i'm a whole handful now."

a pmf Christmas

a couple of weeks ago we drove to the pmf for some Christmas fun...

 there's always guns involved in Christmas fun

 and cutting wood for the fire place

and don't forget a little fishing

 jack was excited about his presents

 granny got a new ring for red hats

 and it snowed on Christmas day!

 not too shabby!

she made a bunch of these cute fellas...

blurry life

the past two weeks have been a blur...we have had so much going on and this is my attempt to sum it up.

the queens of cuisine went to belton to compete in the regional competition.  they did not place, but had a great time!  they made a dish with gnocchi.  later in the week i bought the same ingredients that they had in the competition and they made it for our family...it was delicious!

reese won some u.i.l. awards in her first competition for social studies and number sense!

and mackenzie was in her first play...alice in wonderland.  she was the white queen and the doormouse.
