tennis

mackenzie decided she would try out for tennis this year and she made the varsity team.  she played in the district tennis tournament at tarleton university last week and i finally seized the opportunity to take a few action shots of her. 

she played in the girls' doubles division

 they did not advance to the finals, but she played well and it was a fun experience for her.

gotta finish the month of february

the last week of february was a bit hectic, but don't worry i'm about to sum it up for you.

mackenzie entered some photos in the county fair...and she placed in almost every category she entered.

 later in the week, colin and i went to austin to see a cirque de soleil show.  the weather was so nice that we went running the next day in a beautiful park

i am so glad i'm married to this guy!!

when we arrived home, we had some shooting practice in the backyard

 even oma joined in on the fun 

 buster did not like it one bit!

 look who turned 12!

 reese just wanted to have some friends over to play games and eat pizza

 and that they did!

i am thankful for reese and her sweet friends!
