happy quincenera mackenzie!

well, we were out of town attending a wedding on her birthday, so we had

 to do some celebrating in the hotel room.

 then we went to a local nature reserve

 we saw snakes, butterflies, prairie dogs, roadrunners, and more...

 a trip to bahama bucks was a must

 and then the next weekend she invited her besties for some swimming, steaks, 

boudain, and games at the state park.

happy bday to the best 15 year old i know!!

one of our friends took us out to the country to have some family pictures.  i thought they turned out fabulous.  here are a few of them

 love the smiles on my kids' faces on this next one...

 she even got one of the whole fam that turned out pretty good

they don't always enjoy having their pictures taken, but these memories will last a long time!

annual bluebonnet photos

well, it was like pulling teeth trying to get these kids to sit still for a few pics...

 the bluebonnets were beautiful, plentiful and they smelled so wonderful!

 and to top it off...it was perfect jeep weather!
