jack and friends

 jack finished school with a bang this year!  

he earned enough a.r. points to go to the aquarium in dallas.  

it was really neat and a great reward for doing his reading

and the week after school was out, he was invited to 

participate in the basketball camp at the high school.  he had a 

great time and says he is ready to play this fall!

at the end of the year awards ceremonies, my kids scored some awards...

 mackenzie got a plaque in 5 out of 6 classes for highest average and all-year 'a' honor roll

 reese broke the school record for ar points with 1062 points, all year 'a' honor roll 

and highest average in history.  

jack received a national physical fitness award, ar award, 

jump rope for heart award and a couple of others

donkeys at the nursing home

a friend of mine called me and asked if i would help her

take a couple of her donkeys up to the nursing home for western day.

of course i said yes!

 we walked tinkerbelle up and down the hallways and the residents LOVED her! 

(the other donkey did not cooperate).

end of the school year fun with jack

jackson's end of the year parties were quite exciting.  to celebrate all they learned 

about texas, all of the kids in kindergarten went to our local park and had a "texas round up."

jack dressed accordingly... 

 they had stick horse races

 tug of war

 and sang songs about texas as well as reciting many facts about texas

 they also celebrated the end of the school year with popsicles this week
