what a day!

i started the morning off about 5:45am heading off to the zoo fun run. i ran the 10K and then caught up with the rest of my family and did the 5k.

afterwards, we came back home and napped and did legos for a while.

then, i asked reese to hang out with jackson for a sec in the backyard and this is the result...

she even created some nice shoulder pads for him!

that is how my day has gone so far and it is only 3:30 pm!!

the kids Sunday morning

i let the girls pick out their own outfits. mackenzie feels the same way i do about dressing up.

i am so thankful that the kids have their aunt candilicious (leanne)...otherwise they would be deprived of cute little easter bunny brownies. they were as yummy as they were cute!

i have always loved reagan, but the fact that he enjoys wearing bunny ears on Easter makes me love him even more!

mackenzie went to problem solving competition on saturday. her math coach chose four kids from the entire school to compete. the girl played math games for four hours straight. she was such a trooper and i am so proud of my little mathlete.

jackson playing dress-up in daddy's boots. he kept asking colin to "peez" put him in the boots, but he couldn't move once we put him in.

the girls and i went to a mother/daughter tea today with grandma rothenberger, deneise and payton. it was such a treat and the girls had a great time.

family fun

the girls started upward soccer this past week. it is their first time to play soccer, so one evening we decided to have a little family game so they could get some more practice. colin and i took turns playing against mackenzie and reese. buster was all-time defense.
