its almost over

as of today, colin completed all of his assignments for the spring semester! to celebrate, we went to our first movie as a family and it was 3-D! i'm pretty sure jackson is going to have some sort of damage to his vision because he wouldn't keep his glasses on.

spring soccer has arrived (about 3 weeks ago) and i have neglected to blog about it. the girls had two games each on saturday and both of them scored a goal! being outside and watching my kiddos play sports is such a fun time for me.

jackson loves to give high fives to all the players coming out of the tunnel.

zoo fun run record broken

i'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that i wasn't there, but the fam ran their best time ever on saturday. i stayed at home with jackson because there was a 95% chance of thunderstorms and i don't like to get wet or muddy. ;)

mackenzie was one of 2 % of her school who were nominated by their teachers for the ann brannon award. she received the award for reading. i know she does not get this special skill from me. she read the 860 page harry potter book in 4 days and it took me 5 weeks!
