fort worth rodeo

 we went up to cowtown this past weekend to see one of mackenzie's friend show 

her horses at the stock show.

we couldn't resist the fair rides and yummy food

at the park

 the weather has been gorgeous this week and so we headed to the park with some friends.

i don't remember why she gave me the pouty face, but isn't she cute?!

i had the privilege last night of being able to watch one of my friend's sweet horse give birth.  it was one of the most amazing experiences i have ever had and i will remember it forever. 

isn't he the most most handsome fella ever?!?!?

within about an hour he was running around his momma trying to find some milk. 

oma's bday

oma drove up to meridian to celebrate her 70th birthday with us! 

 colin and the kiddos made her two cakes for the occasion.

one of them was a bit colorful inside.

as always, it was great seeing oma and playing games with her.
