i am usually the first to say that raking leaves is pointless. they keep falling and blowing all around and it is impossible to keep your yard leaf-free...so why not just embrace the leaf clutter? well, much to the neighbors' delight colin decided to rake for the first time in about a year. it was the biggest pile of leaves i have ever seen. the kiddos had a blast playing in them (except for jackson).

And I thought we were the last ones to rake our leaves. We raked 5 very large bags of leaves from our yard on Wednesday and like your neighbors, I'm sure ours were very glad.
