reese celebrated her birthday this weekend with a few of her friends from school. her one request was that she be able to go swimming since it has been such a long time. so...we loaded up and went to waco to stay at a hotel with a pool. we had the best time and managed to get everyone in bed before midnight. however, we had a rude awakening at 1:30 am when the hotel fire alarm went off. we had to evacuate the hotel for about half an hour. the kiddos were troopers and seemed to actually enjoy the excitement.
colin made this swimming pool cake for reese.
we played every swimming game we could think of.

jackson and colin shared a bed. king jackson evidently requires a bit more space than the average three year old.
